  • Built in 1924 at Charleston, W.V., as the towboat Lookout
  • Launched in 1924
  • Delivered to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1924
  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service in 1924 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as USED Towboat Lookout
  • Lookout was originally assigned to service on the Tennessee River
  • Re-assigned in 1927 to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District
  • Renamed USED Towboat George S. Nutt in 1927
  • Retired from U.S. Army service in 1937
  • Sold in 1937, renamed Admiral
  • Rebuilt at Canulette Shipbuilding, Sidell, LA. in 1941
  • Final Disposition, sold in 1948 to Yaun Boat & Barge Repair Co. who dismantled her.
