  • Built between 1942 and 1944 a as US Army wooden hulled self- propelled Barge BSP-1915 by Maritime Shipyard, Seattle, WA.
  • Launched, between 1942 and 1944
  • Delivered to the US Army Quartermasters Corps between 1942 and 1944
  • Assigned to the US Army Transportation Corp. placed in service as self-propelled barge BSP-1915
  • Placed out of service in 1949
  • Transferred to US Fish and Wildlife Service, 14 May 1949, at Kodiak, AK., Commissioned RV Murre II (FRV-63)
  • Transferred to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, 3 October 1970, redesignated NOAAS Murre II (FRV-63)
  • Redesignated NOAAS Murre II (R-663), circa 1972-73
  • Decommissioned in 1989
  • Sold in 1991, eventually Murre II was acquired by a community college in Poulsbo, WA., for use in Puget Sound as a training vessel for scallop draggers
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
