  • Launched in 1943
  • Delivered and placed in commission by the US Army Corps of Engineers, as USACE Hains
  • During World War II Hains was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and operated in the Philippines
  • Following World War II Hains was assigned to the US Army Corps Engineers Detroit and Buffalo Districts
  • Decommissioned and retired in 1984
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
