Refrigerated Cargo Ship:
  • Laid down in 1953 as Refrigerated Coastal Freighter FSR-791 for the U.S Army at Higgines Industries, New Orleans, LA.
  • Launched, 1953-54
  • Delivered to the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps in 1954
  • Assigned to the U.S. Army Transportation Corps, Alaska Command, commissioned USAT FSR-791 in 1954
  • Decommissioned and placed in reserve, date unknown
  • Loaned in October 1962 to United States Fish and Wildlife Service, (USFWS), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS)
  • Commissioned USNMFS MV Pribilof to serve as the "Pribilof tender" – a dedicated supply vessel used to transport passengers and cargo to and from the Pribilof Island
  • In October 1970 the Bureau of Fisheries was reassigned to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
  • Decommissioned in 1975
  • Sold in 1975 to The Aleut Corporation, Anchorage, AK.
  • Re-sold in 1983 to Lafayette Fisheries, for service as a fish processing factory ship
  • Re-sold in 2004 to Trident Seafoods, Seattle, WA.
  • Disposition, as of 2013, Trident Seafoods still owned and operated her, using her as a fish processor in the Bering Sea
