  • Operated under a General Agency Agreement by Grace Lines Inc. from 12 December 1941 to 6 July 1943
  • Allocated, 6 July 1943, as a bare bottom charter to the War Department, Transportation Corps
  • Renamed Edwin B. Winans and designated as a training ship
  • Laid up, 25 September 1945, in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, James River Group, Lee Hall, VA.
  • Renamed Seminole in 1946
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 9 July 1946, to Boston Metals Co. (PD-X-142) for $12,175.00, withdrawn from the Reserve Fleet, 9 July 1946
