  • Laid up at New York, N.Y. in April 1940
  • Acquired under Public Law 101 by the War Shipping Administration, 16 June 1941, at New York City from the Danish Government by Executive Order
  • Allocated, 5 August 1941, to the War Department Transportation Corp. as a bare bottom charter
  • Acquired, 17 March 1942, under a General Agency Agreement by the Marine Operating Co. Inc. at New York
  • Allocated, 19 August 1942, to Stockard S.S. Co. under a General Agency Agreement
  • Allocated, 8 February 1944, to Danish Ship Operating Co. at New York. renamed USAT Pillory, reflagged Panama
  • Torpedoed, 5 June 1944, by U-539 off Puerto Rico sunk 6 June, with only twenty one survivors, the master, 20 crew members and four armed guard were lost
