  • Completed in November 1903 and delivered to Mercantile Steamship Co of Ulster Ltd. (J Fisher & Sons), Newry
  • Acquired in 1916 by Cliffe Steamship Co Ltd (GT Readhead & Co), Newcastle
  • Wrecked, 6 September 1917, at Soroka in the White Sea while loading timber for the UK. Later salvaged and repaired
  • Acquired in 1920 by D/S A/S Skaraas (Christen K Gran), Bergen, Norway, renamed Skaraas, reflagged Norway
  • Acquired in 1923 by A/S Phoenix (Johan Erland), Bergen, Norway
  • Acquired in 1927 by Skibs A/S Nanset (Iver Bugge), Larvik, Norway
  • Acquired in 1935 by Hwah Sung Steamship Co Ltd, Shanghai; renamed Hwah Jang, reflagged Panama
  • Acquired by the War Shipping Administration as a bare bottom charter in 1940, from Alaska SS Co.
  • Delivered to the War Department, as a sub bare bottom charter in 1940
  • Commissioned USAT Coventry in 1940
  • Ran aground off Cuba in May 1945, refloated and laid up from 29 May 1945
  • Retired from US Army service, circa 1945
  • Returned about 24 March 1946 to Hwah Sung Steamship Co Ltd, Shanghai, renamed Hwah Jang
  • Final Disposition, stranded, 11 June 1948, on Piting Rock near Shanghai at 29.53N - 122.31E On a voyage from Keelung to Shanghai with a cargo of coal. Later sank
