  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service as U.S. Army Transport USAQMC McPherson 1898
  • Ran aground February 1901 on the reef about 8 miles west of Matanzas, Cuba. All crew and passengers rescued
  • Refloated circa July 1901
  • Decommissioned and retired from U.S. Army service, date unknown
  • Sold in 1905 to Luckenbach Transportation and Wrecking Co., New York, re-named Brooklyn
  • Acquired in 1908 by the estate of Lewis Luckenbach, New York, re-named S.V. Luckenbach
  • Acquired in 1915 by Onega S.S. Corporation - Barber & Co., New York, re-named Onega
  • Final Disposition, torpedoed, 30 August 1918, by UB-125 in 49.27N-005.20W off Newquay, on passage Bordeaux to Swansea
