  • Rosecrans transported US Army troops to China during the Boxer Rebellion
  • Decommissioned in 1900
  • Acquired in 1900 by Northern Pacific Co, Tacoma.
  • Acquired 1903 by Matson Navigation. Co., San Francisco
  • Converted to a tanker in 1905 and purchased by the Associated Oil Co. of San Francisco
  • Acquired in 1911 Associated Transportation Co
  • Final Disposition, ran aground at Peacock Spit on the Columbia River Bar during a storm, 1 July 1913
