  • Laid down in 1944 as FS-247 as a wood hull Design 342 Freight-Supply Vessel, for the US Army at Northwestern Shipbuilding Co., South Bellingham, WA.
  • Launched in 1944
  • Delivered in July 1944 to the US Army Quartermaster Corps
  • Allocated to the US Army Transportation Corps, Commissioned USAV FS-247, date unknown
  • Decommissioned, date and location unknown
  • Bought by the goverment of French Polynesia, renamed Orohena
  • Used as an auxiliary schooner making weekly runs between Tahiti and outlying islands
  • Sold in 1953 A. Blouin, renamed Vaiatea
  • Final Disposition, sank, 24 November 1977, in a lagoon near Papeete, Tahiti.
