Canadian Trawler:

  • Built by Port Arthur Shipbuilding, Port Arthur, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada as TR-39
  • Completed 1 November 1918
  • Acquired by the U.S. Navy in 1918 and reclassified CT-39
  • Struck from the Navy Register 19 August 1919, returned to Canada and reclassified TR-39
  • Sold in 1920
  • Named Chandbali in 1930
  • Converted to a cargo ship and lengthened in 1932
  • Requisitioned by the Royal Indian Navy, 29 October 1939 and served as HMIS Chandbali
  • Returned to her owners in 1943
  • Scrapped in India in 1986.

  • Armament: One 12-pounder
