Motorboat:

  • The third Vigilant was built in 1909 as Marguerite II by Henry L. Blatz, Philadelphia, PA
  • Acquired by the Navy 19 May 1917 and commissioned USS Vigilant (SP 406) the same day at the Philadelphia Navy Yard
  • Renamed SP-406 in 1918
  • Decommissioned 23 December 1918 at Philadelphia and returned to her owner
  • Fate unknown.
