Laid down under a Maritime Commission contract at Welsh-Kaiser Co., Inc., Providence, RI
Assigned to the Royal Navy under the Lend-Lease Program, named Harland and launched 6 September 1943
Transferred to the Royal Navy and commissioned HMS Cayman (K 506), 20 January 1944
Returned to U.S. custody 23 April 1946 and transferred to the Maritime Commission for disposal
Sold for scrap 1 July 1947 to United Dock Corp. of New York, NY
Naval Vessel Register of 1 January 1949 lists sales date as May 1947.
