  • Laid down 17 June 1941 as PT-50 by the Electric Boat Co., Elco Works, Bayonne, NJ
  • Reclassified BPT-2 in July 1941
  • Launched 29 August 1941
  • Completed 22 January 1942
  • Transferred to Great Britain 4 February 1942 and commissioned HM MTB-308
  • Sunk off Tobruk, Libya by German aircraft 14 September 1942.
