MMC-15 was built in Denmark.

MMC-4 Class Minelayer/Danish Falster Class Minelayer:

  • Laid down 4 October 1962 as MMC-15 by Frederikshavn Vaerft, Denmark under the "offshore" account of the International Logistics Program
  • Launched 5 March 1963
  • Completed 29 April 1964 and commissioned in the Royal Danish Navy as HDMS Moen (N 82)
  • Decommissioned 22 October 2004
  • Scrapped in June 2006 at Frederikshavn.

  • Displacement 1,900 t.
  • Length 252' 6"
  • Beam 41'
  • Draft 10'
  • Speed 17 kts.
  • Complement 120
  • Armament: Two 3"/50 dual purpose mounts and 400 mines
  • Propulsion: Two 4,800shp General Motors diesel engines, two shafts.
