  • Placed in reduced commission, 15 June 1945, as USS Quirinus, LCDR. John B. Darrow USN in command, for transit to Bethlehem Steel Co., Key Highway Plant, Baltimore, MD. for conversion to a Landing Craft Repair Ship
  • Decommissioned, 10 July 1945
  • Recommissioned USS Quirinus (ARL-39), 6 November 1945, LCDR. John B. Darrow USN in command
  • Decommissioned, 27 June 1947, at Green Cove Springs, FL.
  • Laid up in the Atlantic Reserve Fleet, Green Cove Springs, FL.
  • Loaned to Venezuela in 1962 under the Military Assistance Program, renamed ARV Guayana (T-18)
  • Sold to Venezuela, under the Security Assistance Program, 2 December 1977
  • Struck from the Naval Register, date unknown
