  • Decommissioned, 11 June 1945, at Bethlehem Steel Co., Key Highway Plant, Baltimore MD.
  • Recommissioned USS Gordius (ARL-36), 14 September 1945, LT. Roy L. Guy USN in command
  • Decommissioned, 21 December 1955, at Green Cove Springs, FL.
  • Laid up in the Atlantic Reserve Fleet, Green Cove Springs, FL.
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 1 February 1961
  • Loaned under the Military Assistance Program to Iran, 7 September 1968, renamed Sohrab
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
