Landing Craft Tank (Mark 5) Class:
  • Laid down in July 1942 at Decatur Iron & Steel Co., Decatur, AL.
  • Launched in August 1942
  • Delivered in September 1942
  • LCT(5)-335 never saw service with the US Navy
  • Transferred, 11 January 1943, to the United Kingdom under the Lend-Lease program, redesignated HM LCT-2335
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 9 June 1944
  • Final Disposition, lost when the Norwegian tanker MV Daghild while in convoy SC118 was torpedoed by U-402 and U-608 in the North Atlantic, 7 and 8 February 1943
