USS Rushmore (LSD-47)

CDR. Robin Marling, USN

CDR Robin Marling is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She received her commission and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy in 2001.

CDR Marling’s sea tours include serving as Auxiliaries Officer and Navigator onboard USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) and Combat Systems Data Division Officer onboard USS Enterprise (CVN 65). As a Department Head, she served onboard USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) and USS San Antonio (LPD 17) as Operations Officer.

Her shore tours include serving as the Naval Liaison to the Operations Analysis Division of the Marine Corps Combat Development Command, Global Force Management Action Officer at US Fleet Forces Command and Global Force Management Action Officer/ Force Generation Branch Chief at USSOCOM.

She received her Master of Science in Information Systems and Operations from the Naval Post Graduate School in 2002. Her awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal and various unit awards and commendations.
