     LCS(L)(3) Group Thirteen, LCDR. R. L. Jackson USN
     LCS(L)(3) Division Twenty-Six and participated in the following campaign:

  • Following World War II USS LCS(L)(3)-128 was assigned to Occupation service in the Far East from 19 September to 1 December 1945
  • Decommissioned, 26 November 1946
  • Reactived and placed back in service, 29 January 1947
  • Assigned to the Naval Reserve Training Command, 1 April 1947, at New Orleans, LA.
  • Redesignated Landing Ship Support Large, USS LSSL-128, 28 February 1949
  • Placed out of service, date unknown
  • Declared surplus to the Navy's needs, 3 July 1950
  • Struck from the Naval Register 20 December 1950
  • USS LCS(L)(3)-128 earned one battle star for World War II service
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 14 December 1950, to Southwest Steel Corp., Memphis, TN.
