  • Laid down, date unknown, as the light draft monitor Suncook at Globe Iron Works, South Boston, MA.
  • Delivered, 8 July 1865 at Boston Navy Yard
  • Suncook found to be unseaworthy due to faulty design
  • Laid up at Philadelphia Navy Yard from 1866 to 1874
  • Name changed to Spitfire, 15 June 1869
  • Name reverted to Suncook, 10 August 1869
  • Struck from the Naval Register, date unknown
  • Final Disposition, broken up at Philadelphia in July 1874 and sold
