  • Launched, 6 January 1865
  • Completed 30 March 1865
  • Delivered to the US Navy at the Boston Navy Yard, 5 April 1865
  • Commissioned, USS Squando, 6 June 1865, at Boston Navy Yard, Acting Master George H. Leinas in command
  • Assigned to service in the North Atlantic Squadron at Charleston, S. C.
  • Decommissioned, 26 May 1866, and laid up at League Island, PA.
  • Renamed Erebus, 15 June 1869
  • Renamed Squando again, 10 August 1869
  • Final Disposition, sold at League Island for scrapping in 1874
