Casco Class Light-draft Monitor:
  • Built in 1864-65 at Continental Iron Works Brooklyn, New York
  • Launched, 31 May 1865
  • Completed, 19 January 1866, never commissioned
  • Laid up at League Island, PA., from 1867 until sold in July 1874,
  • Name changed to Charybdis, 15 June 1869, and back to Cohoes 19 August 1869
  • Final Disposition, Sold for scrapping in July 1874
