The personal pennant of Admiral Buchanan, CSN. The Pennant has a blue background with 10 white stars in a circle and one at the center The pennant was flown over CSS Nashville. A note attached to the hoist of the flag reads, " Pennant of the rebel Admiral Buchanan of the ram "Nashville" from the "Confederate " navy yard at Mobile Alabama.
