  • Build as the ship Rebecca, date and location unknown
  • Launched, date unknown
  • Taken as a prize on the Mississippi by a party of Americans led by James Willing
  • Rebecca was taken downriver from Ohio, purchased for the Continental Congress by Oliver Pollock, the American commercial agent at New Orleans
  • Renamed Morris, manned, and fitted out for action under the command of CAPT. William Pickles
  • Final Disposition, a severe hurricane destroyed the ship, 18 August 1779, causing the loss of 11 of her crew.
