Built, date unknown, as ST Spirit of Liberty by Bethlehem Steel Sparrows Point Yard, Baltimore, MD

Completed and delivered, 1 October 1968, to Keystone Tankers for charter to the US Navy, Military Sea Transportation Service

Purchased by the US Navy in May 1987 for the Maritime Administration’s Ready Reserve Force (RRF) renamed Mission Buenaventura (AOT-1012)

Downgraded from the RRF, 31 July 31, 2004

Designated for disposal in 2006.

Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 1 October 2012, for $848,472, to All Star Metals, Brownsville, TX., removed 17 October 2012
