USF Constitution, commanded by Captain Issac Hull, defeating HMS Guerriere, 19 August 1812. During the battle with Guerriere, an American seaman, observing that the enemy's shot failed to penetrate the Constitution's side, shouted: "Huzza!. Her sides are made of iron!"
