Klickitat Class Gasoline Tanker:
  • Laid down, 15 May 1945, as M/V Ville Platte, a Maritime Commission type (T1-MT-BT1) tanker hull, under Maritime Commission contract (MC hull 2634) at St Johns River Shipbuilding, Jacksonville, FL.
  • Acquired on loan charter basis from the Maritime Commission, named Tellico (AOG-74) in 1945
  • Launched, 23 August 1945
  • Naval acquisition canceled, 27 August 1945
  • Delivered to the Maritime Commission 75% complete in 1945
  • Sold to International Tankers, 16 July 1947
  • Completed in 1951 by Todd Shipyard, Brooklyn, N.Y.
  • Placed in commercial service as MV Tellico, Panamanian flagged
  • Resold, and renamed as M/V Transea, Liberian flagged
  • Resold and renamed M/V Sea Transporter, Canadian flagged
  • Resold and renamed M/V Sea Transport, Canadian flagged
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
