  • Laid down, date unknown, as Lafitte, a Maritime Commission type (T1-MT-BT1) tanker hull, under Maritime Commission contract (MC hull 2631) at St Johns River Shipbuilding, Jacksonville, FL.
  • Launched, date unknown
  • Acquired on loan charter basis from the Maritime Commission, named Quinnebaug (AOG-71) in 1945
  • Naval acquisition, canceled, 27 August 1945
  • Delivered to the Maritime Commission in September 1945
  • Completed by Maryland Dry Dock Co., Baltimore, MD.
  • sold in 1948 to International Tankers, S.A., Panama
  • Sold in 1952 to Seatankers, Inc., Monrovia, Liberia
  • Sold in 1960 to - Hall Corporation of Canada, Montreal, Canada., Renamed M/T River Transport
  • Ownership name changed in 1969 to Hall Corporation (Shipping) Montreal, Canada
  • Sold in 1975 to Navipac S.A., Guayaquil, Equador, renamed M/T Don Ernesto, reflagged Panama
  • Final Disposition, broken up 1998, work began in October (presumably in Ecuador, sale reported 2002)
