  • Laid down, 8 March 1955, as USNS Maumee (T-AO-149), a Maritime Administration type (T3-S-12a) tanker hull, under Maritime Administration contract (MA hull 38) at Sun Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co., Chester, PA.
  • Launched, 15 November 1955
  • Placed in service, 17 December 1956
  • Operated for MSTS by Marine Transport Lines under a long-term consecutive-voyage charter
  • Reclassified Transport Oiler T-AOT-149, date unknown
  • Placed out of service, date unknown
  • Struck from the Naval Register, date unknown
  • Title transferred to the Maritime Administration, 23 December 1994, for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, Beaumont TX.
  • Final Disposition, contract awarded, 9 November, 2006 to ESCO Marine, Brownsville, TX. for scrapping. Departed the National Defense Reserve Fleet, Beaumont Group under disposal contract, 23 January 2007, for scrapping at ESCO Marine, Brownsville TX.
