  • Delivered to the Maritime Commission, 4 October 1944
  • Leased to Soviet Union under terms of the Lend-Lease program, named Krasnaia Amia
  • Returned to the Maritime Commission custody at Hong Kong, 26 February 1948
  • Acquired by the Navy, 30 April 1948
  • Designated (AO-140), operated under charter for the Naval Transportation Service by a civilian company
  • Transferred to MSTS, 1 October 1949, and placed In-service as USNS Pioneer Valley (T-AO-140)
