Yard Net Gate Vessel YNG-33 A unique steam powered vessel used at St. Thomas, Virgin Islands during WWII. These barge type vessels opened and closed net gates to let friendly ships pass through continuous torpedo or submarine net barriers which were laid in harbor entrances.
