  • Laid down, 15 December 1944, as a Maritime Commission type (C4-S-B5) hull, under Maritime Commission contract (MC hull 753), at Sun Shipbuilding & Drydock Co., Chester, PA.
  • Launched, 15 May 1945
  • Delivered, 31 August 1945, operated by Agwillines, Inc. until laid up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, Suisun Bay, Benecia, CA., 23 May 1946
  • Acquired from the Maritime Commission by the US Navy and placed in service with the Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS) as USNS Marine Fiddler (T-AK-267), 10 December 1952
  • Converted to a heavy-lift cargo ship, 29 March 1954
  • Placed out of service, 14 July 1973, for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, James River Group, Lee Hall, VA.
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 31 March 1986
  • Title transferred to the Maritime Administration, 26 October 1989
  • Final Disposition, towed, 30 October 2003 to Bay Bridge Enterprises, Chesapeake, VA. and was listed as scrapped. 13 November 2004
