  • 15 August 1943: Launched and christened, sponsored by Mrs. Alma Marion Kyne, widow of Ens. Kyne
  • 04 April 1944: Commissioned, Cmdr. A. Jackson Jr., USNR, in command
  • 14 June 1946: Decommissioned at Green Cove Springs, Fla. after 2 years and 2⅓ months of service
  • 29 May 1947: Placed "in service, in reserve", assigned to NRT, 3rd Naval District, at Ft. Schuyler, Bronx, N.Y.
  • 29 November 1949: Transported members of the Central N.J. Military Order of the World Wars from Jersey City N.J. to West Point, N.Y. for the Army-VMI footbal game
  • 21 November 1950: Recommissioned at New York City, N.Y., Lcdr. Carl L. Scherrer in command, assigned to NRT, 3rd Naval District, at the New York Naval Shipyard, Brooklyn, N.Y.
  • 17 June 1960: Decommissioned at the U. S. Naval Supply Depot, Bayonne, N. J. after 13 years and ⅔ month of service; custody to CO, New York Group, U. S. Atlantic Reserve Fleet
  • 01 August 1972: Struck from the NVR with a total of 15 years and 3 months of service
  • 01 November 1973: Sold for scrapping
