  • 06 December 1943: Keel laid at the Federal Shipbuilding and Drydock Co., Port Newark, N.J.
  • 19 March 1944: Launched and christened, sponsored by Mrs. Carl B. Campbell, Ensign Campbell's mother
  • 31 July 1944: Commissioned at the New York Navy Yard, Brooklyn; Lcdr R. W. Johnson in command
  • 22 November 1945: Arrived in San Pedro, Cal., reported to Commander, 19th Fleet for pre-inactivation overhaul and decommissioning
  • 31 May 1946: Decommissioned at San Diego, Cal. after 1 years and 10 months of service
  • 15 January 1972: Struck from the NVR
  • 15 January 1973: Sold for scrapping
