  • 04 August 1943: Keel laid by the Bethlehem Hingham Shipyard, Hingham, Mass.
  • 23 October 1943: Launched
  • 16 December 1943: Transferred to Great Britain as Lend-Lease, commissioned as HMS Rutherford (K.558)
  • 25 October 1945: Returned to U.S. Navy custody
  • 19 December 1945: Struck from the NVR
  • May 1946: Sold for scrapping
