  • 24 August 1943: Keel laid by the Bethlehem Hingham Shipyard, Hingham, Mass.
  • 01 September 1943: Launched
  • 16 October 1943: Transferred to Great Britain as Lend-Lease, commissioned as HMS Fitzroy (K.553)
  • 05 January 1946: Returned to U.S. Navy custody
  • 07 February 1946: Struck from the NVR
  • 23 May 1946: Sold for scrapping
