Because of structural twisting damage from the 5 June 1945 typhoon, USS Duluth was diverted to Guam for repairs with Pittsburgh, Blue, and Stockham from TF38.1. Duluth is seen in this set in drydock ABSD 6 between 14 June and 5 July. She was able to rejoin the carrier forces in mid-July.
