206k 13 January 2023: San Diego, Cal. - Lcdr. Jonathan Leo, operations officer of the future Independence-class litorral combat ship USS Canberra (LCS 30), poses with the Independence-class LCS USS Kansas City (LCS 22) behind him in San Diego, as Canberra prepares to participate in its Combat System Ship Qualification Trials. Leo also participated in the CSSQT of Kansas City during its pre-deployment qualification trials. The CSSQT qualification process is a NAVSEA pre-deployment requirement to verify the crew’s ability to operate and maintain their combat systems in a safe and effective manner. It is considered a major milestone in validating the ship’s capability to defend itself, fight and win.

Note About Contacts

Contact information is compiled from various sources over a period of time and may, or may not, be correct. Every effort has been
made to list the newest contact. However, our entry is only as good as the latest information that's been sent to us. We list only
a contact for the ship if one has been sent to us. We do NOT have crew lists or rosters available. Please see the Frequently Asked
Questions section on Navsource's Main Page for that information.
