    YP-698 959k Morning colors in the fog and snow on YP-698, YP-688 and YP-690 on the morning of the 104th Army Navy football game, 6 December 2003. The boats and crew made the transit to Coast Guard Station Philadelphia from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. for the game. Navy defeat the Black Knights by a score of 34-6.

    YP-698 253k Midshipman 4th Class Christa Stowe, from Daytona Beach, Fla., shovels snow from the weather deck of YP-698 at Coast Guard Station Philadelphia, 6 December 2003. YP-698, YP-688 and YP-690, moored abreast of YP-698, made the transit from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD., to Philadelphia for the 104th playing of the Army Navy game. The YPs are used to teach familiarization with water craft, Basic Damage Control and underway instruction of Basic to Advanced Seamanship and Navigation. Yard Patrol craft provide realistic, at-sea training in navigation and seamanship for midshipmen attending the academy.
