    YP-669 56k YP-669 the last class of wooden-hulled YPs built for the US Navy, nearing completion at Tacoma Boatbuilding Co., Tacoma, WA. in October 1971. Tacoma Boatbuilding had a subcontract to build the oak-ribbed, Alaskan cedar double planked wooden hulls and aluminum superstructures for Peterson Boatbuilding while Peterson was responsible for the outfitting and testing of the new boats.
