  • Acquired by the US Navy, 15 April 1942 and fitted out as a coastal patrol boat at Philadelphia Navy Yard
  • Allocated to the Chesapeake Bay Annex
  • Placed in service USS YP-354 in May 1942
  • Placed out of US Navy service in 1947 but remaining in government service until mid-1960s for the use of US Presidents
  • Name changed to El Presidente in 1965
