  • Built by Nilson Yach Building, Baltimore, MD
  • Completed for Charles Martin Clark, New York, NY, as yacht North Wind (ON 209519), 1911
  • Sold to J.A. Mitchell, Houston, TX, early 1920s
  • Sold to L.A. Layne, Houston, TX, renamed Southern Breeze, late 1920s
  • Acquired by US Navy, 20 December 1941
  • Placed in service as YP-158, ENS Eli B. Roth, USN, in charge, 30 December 1941
  • Assigned to Eight Naval District at Section Base Galveston
  • YP-158's naval carrer was cut short due to serious engine and shaft problems
  • Placed out of service in June 1942, by October of that year she was being cannibalized for parts
  • Struck from the Naval Register and sold, 08 October 1943
  • Final Disposition, foundered at Galveston, March 1944
