  • Completed for Olaf Hanseth, Seattle, WA, as fishing vessel Adventure (ON 236511), August 1937
  • Acquired by the US Navy, 29 March 1941
  • Placed in service as YP-88, 1941
  • Allocated to Thirteenth Naval District, operated in Aleutians
  • Grounded in 50 knot winds on Bird Rock, off NW Amchitka Island, Aleutian Islands, 28 October 1943
  • Cree (AT-84 arrived to attempt salvage, but wind and ground swells prevented this
  • Vessel abandoned by crew without loss of life, 30 October 1943
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 12 February 1944
