  • During World War II YO-186 was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and was towed to serve at Eniwetok Atoll in the Marshall Islands, towed again to Manus Island in the Admiralty Islands and towed a third time by USS Arapaho (ATF-68):to Kossol Passage, in the Peleliu Islands
  • Placed out of service, date unknown
  • Struck from the Naval Register, date unknown
