  • Laid down as YT-386, 8 September 1943 at Ira Bushey & Sons, Brooklyn, N.Y.
  • Launched, 24 December 1943
  • Delivered to the Navy, 25 April 1944, and placed in Service as Waneta (YT-384), allocated to the Pacific Fleet Service Force
  • Redesignated Harbor Tug, Large YTB-384 15 May 1944
  • Placed out of service, in reserve, in March 1946 at the Pacific Reserve Fleet, San Diego Group
  • Reactivated and placed in service in October 1953 for duty in the 6th Naval District, Charleston, S.C.
  • Reclassified Harbor Tug Medium YTM-384, in February 1962
  • Placed out of service in early 1974
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 1 April 1974
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 1 February 1975, by the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS)
