Laid down in 1943 as the Lend-Lease District Harbor Tug Curaray (PYT-2), for Peru, at Gulfport Boiler and Welding Works, Port Arthur, TX.

Launched, 21 June 1943

Completed, 25 October 1943

Transferred to Peru, date unknown under terms of the Lend Lease Act

Placed in service in the Peruvian navy, date unknown

Returned from Lend Lease to US Navy custody, declared surplus and sold by the Office of Foreign Liquidation Commission (Lend Lease) 14 March 1949.
