  • Commissioned 29 June 1884
  • Acquired by the Navy 9 April 1898
  • Returned to the Treasury Department 15 August 1898
  • Grounded 27 July 1910 at Tonki Point, St. Paul Island, in the Pribilof Islands, AK.

    Specifications:

  • Length 165'
  • Beam 25'
  • Draft 11' 2"
  • Complement 41
  • Armament: Two gun mounts
  • Propulsion: One direct-acting steam engine, one shaft.
