Canadian Trawler:

  • Built by Government Shipyards, Sorel, Quebec, Canada as TR-55
  • Completed 1 November 1918
  • Acquired by the U.S. Navy in 1918 and reclassified CT-55
  • Struck from the Navy Register 26 July 1919
  • Returned to Canada and reclassified TR-55 in August 1919
  • Sold in 1920 to Pecheries and Arm, La Rochelle-Ocean of La Rochelle, France and named Marie Jacqueline
  • Sold in April 1935 to Arne Flekstad and O. Aarseth of Oslo, Norway
  • Sold in September 1935 to A/S Troms Havfiskeselskap (O. Aarseth) of Tromso, Norway and renamed Svalbard 2
  • Acquired in April 1936 by A/S Tramoso Bunkerdepot (Odd Berg) of Tromso
  • Sold in in August 1938 to A.S Norland Havfiske (Erling Sannes)
  • Requisitioned by the Norwegian Navy in September 1939 and commissioned HNoMS Scorpion
  • Captured by German forces in Norway 27 June 1940
  • Commissioned in the Kreigsmarine NN02 Scorpion 8 August 1940
  • Surrendered in June 1945
  • Returned to her previous owners in 1946 and renamed Svalbard 2 once again
  • Sold in January 1956 to A/S Transfport of Stavanger, Norway and renamed Baxel
  • Sold in 1960 to Brodrene Hafthammer and A/S Transport, Stavanger
  • Sold in May 1961 to Overtatt Av Hans Hufthammer P/R of Stavanger
  • Sold for scrap in June 1966.
