Violet Class Lighthouse Tender:

  • The second Mistletoe was built in 1939 by Pusey and Jones Company, Wilmington, Delaware
  • Launched 29 April 1939
  • Commissioned USCGC Mistletoe 15 September 1939
  • Designated WAGL-234 in 1942
  • Reclassified as WLM-237 in 1966
  • Decommissioned 27 September 1968
  • Sold 14 August 1969
  • Fate unknown.

  • Draft 11'
  • Speed 11.5 kts.
  • Complement 41 (1945)

  • Armament: One 3"/50 mount, two 20mm mounts and two depth charge tracks (World War II), none in peace time
  • Propulsion: Two Babcock and Wilcox watertube boilers, two 500shp triple-expansion steam engines, two shafts.
